FORT WORTH, TX, August 23, 2011 /Entertainment PR News/ -- Don and Cindy Gifford, chefs and co-owners of The Eatery, announce a special menu to celebrate National Peanut Day on September 13.

"Come on in and order the King of sandwiches - reputed to be Elvis' favorite, a grilled or fried banana and peanut butter sandwich,. Bacon optional!" says Cindy.

She adds the special menu items - ranging from the grilled peanut butter and banana to a special Thai peanut soup - will be available from the 13th through the end of the month.

The Eatery, a family-style restaurant in Haltom City, TX, offering American food with fresh ingredients and a creative twist, will encourage patrons to join the fun on this "peanuttiest" day with a trivia quiz, a special menu, and other fun events. So bring the kids in for lunch, treat them to an American classic, the PB&J!

The Eatery also has added iPads loaded with the popular Angry Birds game to keep the kids busy while they are waiting for Chef Don to work his magic said Ron Sturgeon, a small business growth consultant, working for the Ft Worth restaurant.

The Eatery is located at 3257 North Beach Street in Fort Worth. Open daily from 11:00 am to 8 pm and Saturday from 5 to 10 pm. For more information, call 682-647-0606, visit www.gototheeatery.com, follow The Eatery on Facebook or see reviews of The Eatery on Urban Spoon.
