Beginning on September 22nd 2011, the Hong Kong Tourism Board is helping to organise various themed promotions, parties and attractions running up to Halloween itself on October 31st.
Over the course of the event, visitors will be able to take part in street celebrations and fancy-dress parties, while shops, bars and restaurants will all be providing special offers.
Meanwhile, popular tourist destinations including Hong Kong Disneyland, Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, Ocean Park, Avenue of Stars and Lan Kwai Fong have all confirmed that they will be joining in with the Halloween festivities.
For example, Hong Kong Disneyland will be running a promotion called Haunted Halloween, during which park opening hours will be extended to 23:00 local time for night-time fun.
Meanwhile, Madame Tussauds will provide guests with an opportunity to experience an interactive tour of Dr Frankenstein's lab, featuring a combination of wax monsters and live performers.
