The Spring Racing Carnival is Victoria's major thoroughbred racing event, its horse racing at its best, attracting many hundreds of thousands of race goers annually to experience the Group One race action live and up-close.
The Spring Racing Carnival runs between October and November and covers a number of race meetings at Caulfield, Geelong, Moonee Valley, Flemington and Sandown.
Races include the Melbourne Cup, Caulfield Cup, Victorian Derby, Myer Classic, Thousand Guineas, Cox Plate and Mackinnon Stakes.
