Joanne Strangolagalli-Santodonato, MS, Honored as a Leading Music Educator
Joanne Strangolagalli-Santodonato celebrates 22 years with East Hills School in Roslyn Heights, New York
ROSLYN, NY, July 18, 2011 /Entertainment PR News/ -- Joanne Strangolagalli-Santodonato, MS, Music Teacher at East Hills School of Roslyn Public Schools, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in music education.
Joanne Strangolagalli-Santodonato's twin love of music and teaching inspired her to embark on a career in education nearly 30 years ago. She now lends her talents as a music teacher to East Hills School in Roslyn Heights, New York - a position she has held for the past 22 years. There, she teaches students to play the piano and provides singing lessons as well as choral instruction. Ms. Strangolagalli-Santodonato leads the school's chorus team and offers musical accompaniment for performances.
Ms. Strangolagalli-Santodonato holds a master of science in elementary education and a bachelor of fine arts in music education and music performance from the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. She was honored with the Nassau Music Educators Association Jenkins Award for professional excellence in is an affiliate of the Nassau Music Educators Association. In addition to her most recent recognition from Cambridge Publishing, she was selected as Outstanding VIP in 2009 for the third consecutive year.
